Meeting the Gatwick Arrivals Review Team

Saturday 28th November 2015 at 10am at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.

Gatwick Obviously Not is chairing the negotiations with the Review Team on behalf of the Campaign Groups to the west and east of Gatwick.

Greg Clark has secured a public meeting with the Review Team. However, it is only for his Constituents. If that is you, and you wish to go, you need to book your seat. Details below.

We are also negotiating with the Review Team for a further public meeting in December for those of you in Tom Tugendhat's Constituency.

We suggest you act fast to secure your seat at Tunbridge Wells.

Below is the message from Greg Clark, in full. We have added a map of his Constituency.

Martin Barraud
Gatwick Obviously Not

Dear All

As you may be aware, as a result of the high number of complaints Gatwick has been receiving on aircraft noise it has recently commissioned an independent review - called the McNulty Review after its Chairman Sir Roy McNulty.

Gatwick has outlined the aims of this review as being to ensure that:

  1. Everything that can reasonably be done to alleviate the problems identified is being done, whether this involves action by the airport or by the other parties most closely involved - National Air Traffic Service (NATS), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Department for Transport or the airlines

  2. The approaches which Gatwick has adopted for providing information to the local community and for handling complaints are fully adequate for the task

I have arranged for Bo Redeborn, who is leading this review, and Graham Lake, his technical advisor, to visit Tunbridge Wells so that they can listen to your concerns directly.

This event will take place on Saturday 28 November 2015 at 10am at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.

Doors open at 9.30am.

Seats are limited so booking is essential.

Please e-mail me if you would like to attend confirming how many seats you would like, your home postal address and a contact telephone number.

I look forward to seeing you then.

Best wishes
